Province of Gelderland

The landscape of Gelderland is quite varied. The Veluwe, an extensive area of woodland, heath and sand dunes, is in the north. The east is mainly arable farmland. The area between the rivers Maas, Rhine and Waal is dotted with meadows and orchards.
